Fujitsu MeatPro Cloud extends Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central with additional functionality designed to support organisations operating in the meat processing industry.

This guide provides an introduction to MeatPro and helps new users understand where to begin.

Before You Start

Before using MeatPro, ensure that:

You can sign in to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
MeatPro is available within your Business Central environment.
Your user account has been assigned the appropriate permissions for your role.
Your organisation has completed the required MeatPro configuration.

If you cannot access MeatPro functionality, contact your Business Central administrator or your organisation's MeatPro support contact.

Accessing MeatPro

MeatPro functionality is integrated into Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

You can use the standard Tell Me search within Business Central to locate pages and functions available to you.

The functionality you can access will depend on your assigned role and permissions.

Understanding the MeatPro Process

Depending on your organisation's implementation, MeatPro may be used across a number of business processes.

Livestock Procurement & Booking

Manage information associated with livestock procurement and booking processes.

Processing

Support operational processing activities and the recording of relevant production information.

Inventory & Carton Management

Manage product and carton information alongside inventory processes within Business Central.

Sales

Support sales activities and fulfilment processes for MeatPro products.

Pricing

Maintain and use the pricing information required by your organisation's MeatPro processes.

Traceability

Access information captured through MeatPro and Business Central to support product and transaction traceability.

Your organisation may use some or all of these areas depending on how MeatPro has been configured.

Finding MeatPro Functions

The quickest way to locate a MeatPro function is usually through the Tell Me search in Business Central.

Select the Tell Me search.
Enter the name of the page or function you require.
Select the appropriate result.

Only functionality available under your assigned permissions will be accessible.

Help with Business Central

MeatPro operates with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

For guidance on standard Business Central functionality, use the Microsoft Business Central documentation and in-product help.
